Quick and Simple Deployment
WatchGuard Rapid Deploy makes it possible to eliminate much of the labor involved in setting up a Firebox to work within your existing network – all without having to leave your office. Rapid Deploy is a powerful, Cloud-based deployment and configuration tool that comes standard with WatchGuard Firebox appliances. Local staff simply connect the device for power and the internet, and the appliance simply connects to the Cloud for all its configuration settings.
Integrated Power Over Ethernet (PoE+)
Integrated support for PoE+ means you can avoid running separate power cables to peripheral devices like security cameras, VoIP phones or wireless access points.
Automation To The Core
The WatchGuard Firebox T40 appliance is designed with automation to the core, allowing your IT team to do more with less. The WatchGuard Automation Core makes it possible to deploy from the Cloud, block threats, update signatures, and detect and kill malware, all without lifting a finger.
Network Optimization With SD-WAN
Firebox T40 makes network optimization easy. With integrated SD-WAN, you can decrease your use of expensive MPLS or 4G/LTE connections and inspect traffic from small offices while improving the resiliency and performance of your network.
Includes 1-Year Standard Support
WatchGuard knows how important support is when you are trying to secure your network and this WatchGuard Standard Support licence gives you the backup you need, starting with an initial subscription that supports you from the moment it is activated on your appliance.
Hardware Replacement Warranty
Having an active Standard Support subscription extends the one-year hardware warranty that is included with each WatchGuard appliance. Not only that, it also provides advance hardware replacement, which means that should there ever be a hardware failure, WatchGuard will ship a replacement, in advance of receiving the returned appliance, thus minimizing downtime.
Software Updates
Hackers never sleep. That is why this WatchGuard Standard Support subscription gives you access to updates and enhancements for your WatchGuard product. And you are not limited to minor software patches; new software versions are available to active Standard Support subscribers throughout the supported life of the product.
Technical Support
All WatchGuard appliances come with a minimum of 90 days Standard Support. Annual subscription renewals entitle you to submit up to five support cases per subscription year on the web or the phone. Reported issues that are the result of software or hardware defects are not counted against your five case limit. Active subscribers who need additional assistance from technical support may opt to upgrade to Gold, which includes an unlimited case count while the subscription is active, or purchase a Priority Case Upgrade 5-pack.
Security Alerts
WatchGuard’s Rapid Response Team – a dedicated group of network security experts, monitors the internet to identify emerging threats, then delivers Standard Support alerts that tell you specifically what you can do to address each new menace. By customizing your alert preferences, you can fine-tune what kind of advice and alerts the Standard Support sends you.
Technical Resources and Self-Help Tools
In addition to providing you with direct personal support, you get access to a variety of video tutorials, training course-ware, and online tools such as the WatchGuard User Forum and Knowledge Base. These tools have been specifically designed to answer questions you may have regarding network security in general, as well as the technical aspects of installing, configuring, and maintaining your WatchGuard products.
